2. Overview of Data Processing
We process personal data only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). This privacy policy explains what data we collect when you visit our website and how it is used.
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) to protect the transmission of data between your browser and our servers. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This includes:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
- IP address (anonymized)
- Date and time of access
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in ensuring the secure and efficient provision of our website. Server log files are typically retained by GitHub for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted.

A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is in place with GitHub Inc. in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Contact Form & Email
When you contact us via the contact form, the data you provide (name, email address, message content) is transmitted via Web3Forms and forwarded to us by email. Web3Forms does not store your submission data on their servers. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Web3Forms servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the USA. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Data transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF). For more information, see Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
For spam prevention, Web3Forms may share your IP address and email address with third-party services: CleanTalk (Privacy Policy) and Akismet by Automattic (Privacy Policy). This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse).
We will not share this data without your consent. The data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed, unless retention is required by law (e.g. tax retention periods of up to 7 years under Austrian law, BAO §132). Typically, inquiry data is deleted within 6 months after completion of the request.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
This website does not use cookies for tracking or marketing purposes. We use localStorage (a browser-based storage mechanism) solely to remember your cookie consent preference. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server. You can reset your preference at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
6. Google Fonts
This website uses Google Fonts for consistent typography. Fonts are only loaded after you give your consent via the cookie banner. If you accept, your browser loads the required fonts from Google's servers, which may transmit your IP address to Google LLC, USA. If you decline, system fonts are used and no data is transmitted to Google.
Google LLC is based in the USA and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), ensuring an adequate level of data protection in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR. The use is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent).
